Dale LaCasella

Dale turned to sculpture for “therapy” about 12 years ago, taking classes from renowned sculptor and potter, Sal Perez, at Monrovia Adult School.  She draws inspiration for her work from live models, photographs, renderings and her own vivid imagination.  She lives in a 106-year old craftsman bungalow with her husband, architect James Vitale, and her cats, Clio and Calliope who are the muses for the Two Cat Sudio.  She has three adorable grandchildren, Dora Grace and Maggie Rose, who live in Virginia, and Masen Thomas, who lives in San Diego.
